Trees & Balloons (work in progress) is an ode to hands. Together with Laisvie Ochoa, the choreographer and the dancers worked from a somatic approach, researching the kinetic experience of expressing through the hands, including the use of sign-language. The theme of care and interconnection is emerging from this process, and the team is deepening the embryological connection between the heart and the hands.
